A student once said that she did not know how to be creative. So this semester, I added a class. It started with video on the creative process, followed up by a walk through my own drawings, along with an introduction to a variety of materials. Both Jack and Kohdai were inspired to continue their own artistry in the final project.

Creativity starts with a playful mindset. So imagine that you are seven years old, you find a stick on the ground, dip it in a bottle of ink, and start to draw. With the lack of control that comes with such a primitive tool, now the fun can begin.
